Al Martinez
Al Martinez is a former columnist for the Los Angeles Times where he was a member of teams that won three Pulitzer Prizes. He has also been honored with two National Headliner Awards, a National Ernie Pyle Award, a National Society of Professional Journalists Award and many others both as a columnist and a national feature writer. He has written eight books, including a novel, created two prime time series for network television, written four movies of the week and been nominated for an Emmy for one of them. Martinez currently writes a blog he calls “Everything Else” because of its wide diversity, teaches a writing workshop and edits book manuscripts in progress. He lives with his wife, a dog, two cats, eight fish and a turtle in Southern California’s Topanga Canyon.

Dennis Toth
Dennis Toth has thirty-five years of experience in film-making and film criticism. He has worked with film programs for the Athens International Film and Video Festival (AIFF), the Athens Film Society, the Columbus Museum of Art, the American Film Festival, the National Black Programming Consortium Prized Pieces Festival and various other institutions. He has also served as media critic for the weekly Columbus Guardian and the British magazine DreamWatch. His reviews on film-related topics have appeared in a wide spectrum of serious publications, including CHOICE: The College Library Review, Dialogue: An Art Journal, and Point of View: A Film Journal. Mr. Toth received his B.A. in philosophy at Ohio State University and studied film at Ohio University, and has participated in animation workshops at Vanderbilt University and the National Film Board of Canada, Montreal.
